I’ve been taking 1 mg of finasteride every day since February of this year, but my hair loss has not stopped. I feel like I’ve lost the battle against MPB because I’m currently below the baseline.
What do I do now?
I understand how frustrating this must feel. Finasteride can take 6–12 months to show noticeable results, so it might just be a matter of giving it a bit more time. Some people also find better results when they combine it with minoxidil or other hair treatments. It’s a good idea to check in with a dermatologist they can assess your situation and suggest next steps. Hang in there and try tracking your hair progress with monthly photos even small changes matter!
