8 months Fin + Oral Minox - still losing some hairs, normal?

Hello,

I’ve been taking Minox Oral 5mg & Finasteride 1mg for over 8 months now.

I had lost density in the middle of my mid-scalp. It’s “gone” (not totally but mostly, except when I take a picture with the flash on) (I think mainly thanks to the Lonoten).

But for a few months now, I’ve been itching a bit in this zone and, above all, I still manage, by pulling my hair (not too hard), to pull out sometimes up to 4 hairs, always miniaturized (and always in this area of my midscalp, when it’s itching).

Is it normal, after 8 months of treatment, to feel this tingling and to be able to pull out so many miniaturized hairs? I’m still losing about 40 a day drying and styling my hair… .

Still seeing shedding, especially miniaturized hairs, is normal at 8 months into fin + oral min from AGA. Tingling might be the follicles reacting to treatment, and the presence of miniaturized hairs could indicate they are cycling out.
