Will Min work even though it’s been 20 years since I started taking Fin?

To elaborate, I started losing my hair in my early 20s. After a few years of relatively slow hair loss, I finally spoke to my dermatologist, who put me on oral Fin. The Fin pretty much stopped all hair line recession and filled my slightly thinning crown back in all the way. I’ve taken Fin continually ever since and it has stopped any further loss.

I’m wondering if there’s much chance I’d have any luck growing some of my hairline back if I used topical Min (and a dermaroller/micro-needling)? I’m not sure if it’s reasonable to expect any hairs that have been gone now for roughly 20-25 years to grow back.

My hair loss is relatively minor (see pic) and now that I’m in my mid-40s it’s doesn’t bother me as much, but I’d still prefer to have more hairline if I could. I’m probably a good candidate for HT and might consider that eventually but would want to try other less invasive options first. I’m looking for any suggestions or advice to help me build a treatment protocol to test out.

As far as shampoo, I currently use a product called New Wash that I believe to promote a healthy scalp and hair.

Probably, they work through different mechanisms. Read the beginner’s guide.
