What should i do: 7 months on oral fin/min, shedding

I’ve been using oral fin (1.2mg) and oral min (3mg) for just about 7 months now, and I for the last 3 weeks or so I’ve had an incredibly, incredibly bad shedding phase. It’s gotten to the point where its noticeable in all lighting and I’m scared that people will see. I’ve had no prior adverse reaction to the medicine, in fact, my hair was actually looking fuller for a while. Additionally, I’ve had no recent lifestyle changes except for maybe the stress accompanying uni finals. I want to note that the hair feels brittle almost, too, which is odd. Should I hop off of the fin and try dut? Also, I’m new to posting on here so I apologize if this isn’t the right way to format it.

shedding is common with fin and min, especially in the early months. it’s a sign that the treatment is affecting hair follicles. the stress from uni finals might be contributing, leading to more shedding. brittleness isn’t typical for oral min or fin, so look at other factors like hair care routine. hopping to dut might help since it blocks more DHT, but shedding can still happen. results from these treatments can take up to a year, so patience is key. for more info, check out The Beginner’s Guide.

Thank you so much I appreciate your help

One more question: how do I know that this is just shedding, not balding getting progressively worse? Is there any way to tell?
