23yo Male Norwood ~2. I’ve been on 1mg oral finasteride for two months. That’s my only current hair loss treatment.
I’m a college student, and I’m really struggling financially right now. I used to donate plasma to make ends meet, but I can’t do that now because of the finasteride. I’m going to stop taking the finasteride for about 6-12 months so that I can donate plasma to help pay the bills. What are some things I can do to mitigate any further loss in the meantime until I resume the finasteride? Minoxidil? Ketoconazole? RU58841? I’m open to anything. Thank you!
min is a good alternative to start. it doesn’t block DHT but promotes hair growth. ketoconazole shampoo can also help reduce scalp inflammation and has some anti-androgen effects. RU58841 is another option, but it’s not officially approved so be careful with that. check out the Beginner’s Guide for more details on these treatments. good luck!
I seriously would not recommend this. You should find another way to make some quick cash. You will thank yourself 10-20 years down the line.
Have you called pizza/chinese restaurants to see if they need delivery drivers? That was great money for me when I was your age.
Damn! Thanks. I generally donate blood for free and because of you, I got to know, I can’t donate blood/plasma/platelets to pregnant and premenopausal women while on Fin.
