I took Finasteride for 9 months up until i started getting a shed about 3 months ago and thats when I got on Dutasteride.Shedding intensified and i kept losing hair for the past months but it seems to be stabilizing now and I was getting ready to reap the rewards until i noticed that my nipples are more puffy than usual and I suspected that Dut was giving me gyno or exarcebating my already mild gyno. I’m not trying to fearmonger or anything this has a very low chance of happening and I’m yet to even confirm gyno but I wanted to ask what do you think would happen if I swapped back to fin now .
Would I regain the hair I lost during the dread shed ?
Switching back to fin might help stabilize your shedding, but it can take a few months for results to show. Some of the hair lost during the intensified shed might regrow, but this process can vary. Thanks for replying , I went to my doctor today and got a physical exam and while he didnt find anything he advised me to dial back the dut to twice / week just to be safe.
