Background:

28M, ~8 years of hair loss

Hair transplant in January (India, ~5,000 grafts)

Dutasteride 0.5mg daily (1+ year)

Topical minoxidil 5% + finasteride mix ( 2 years)

Oral minoxidil 2.5mg every other day (also started 6 months ago)

Earlier history: finasteride + minoxidil, with a gap in treatment
The issue:
When I first started meds years ago, I saw rapid improvement. I stopped for a while, and the loss came back worse. Since restarting , I’ve never gotten close to that initial response.
My doctor says the meds aren’t working as expected and wants me to wait a few more months.
Looking for input from people who’ve been through something similar.
