Severe Hair Loss Post-Surgery and Stress, Possible DUPA or Alopecia?

Guys, I hope you can help me…I’ve been struggling with severe hair loss all over my head for months now…now it’s all thinned out, even on the sides and neck…my hair falls out in handfuls and comes down at the slightest touch…all this happened suddenly after a surgical operation and 2 deaths in my family that caused stress…do you think it’s Dupa, alopecia areata incognita…I don’t know what to do, the doctors say they don’t see miniaturization but the hair loss doesn’t stop

Sounds like it could be telogen effluvium due to the surgery and stress. This type of hair loss can happen after a shock to the system. It usually resolves over time once the stressor is removed, but it might take a few months or even a year. Without miniaturization, AGA seems less likely. Keep monitoring the situation and consider discussing potential treatments or tests with a dermatologist if things don’t improve.
