I’ve read here how tret really gives minox a good boost, my scalp is normally oily. Minoxidil is very itchy/ I assume drying my scalp, tretinoin supposedly does that too (for face I mix with a heavy moisturizer that I can’t imagine would work on scalp since I have some hair?) Already using nizoral and aloe, but how do i fix this itchiness/dry since I’m working in tret? A light/watery moisturizer? A special minox formula that’s still pretty affordable? something else? Already using nizoral and aloe.
yeah, min can dry out the scalp, especially with alcohol in it. Tret might help min penetrate better, but it can also dry you out. Keep using nizoral and aloe for now. You could try a lighter min formula or a water-based moisturizer like one with hyaluronic acid. CBD in MCT oil is also great for calming things down. Adjusting how often you use tret might help too.
