Reevaluating Finasteride/RU After 4 Months: Should I Switch to Dut?

hi everyone, I have been on finasteride and RU for 4 months and 3 months respectively.

But I’m starting to think i’m still losing hair,I was actually on these meds for 9 and 6 months a few yars ago but stupidly quit.

So now i’m not entirely sure what to do, Idk if its just a shed or my hair just getting worse.

I’m posting a couple of pics so you guys can see for yourselves, one is from a couple of months ago and the other is from earlier today, the top one is the one taken today.

Overall I just want to know if you guys think I should keep trying what i’m doing or switch to Dut.

it’s normal to have sheds in early treatment phases, especially after starting/stopping meds. dut might help by further lowering dht levels since it blocks both types of 5-alpha-reductase. if you’re considering switching, dut can be more potent but also consider the potential for increased side effects. make sure to keep tracking the changes over a few more months to see if shedding stabilizes.
