Hello, I have a problem and I’m looking for a solution. I’m almost 30 and have had hair thinning, a receding hairline, and my hair simply isn’t growing as long as it used to for about five years. I Bought topical finasteride 60ml with 5% minoxidil and 10mg finasteride. I decided on the topical form because of the possible side effects. To achieve this, I sprayed 1.5ml once a day before bed. The first effects that appeared were: respiratory shallow breathing, which causes heart damage, and side effects. After the first two treatments, they started to get used to them, or I simply wasn’t paying attention to them. The problem started after two breaks. I couldn’t have morning erections. My libido dropped to zero, and when I had sex, my penis wasn’t hard, but soft like a jelly bean. It didn’t appear or move in that direction. After all this, I stopped the treatment. I’m wondering if I should try again and hope that the side effects will go away on their own, or if it’s better to give up on it since I’m already experiencing such side effects at the beginning of the treatment.
what the fuck, go see a derm. stop taking them immediatly. your heart is more important than the microscopic columns of keratine on top of your scalp. genital issues are serious yet they are far far less important compared to these. please drop the meds right now and go see dermatologist to discuss the path forward, ironically but in some people dutasteride seem to cause less side effects, so while i dont advise you to use it as i cannot give medical advices as a non-professional you may discuss it with a dermatologist. also think about 2.5% minoxidil, weaker but less sides, refer to a derm for that purpose too given the critical nature of your situation. i am on 2.5mg oral minoxidil with dutasteride 0.5mg for context and experienced no side effects as of 40 days, you unfortunately are unlucky.
