Oral vs topical finasteride for mpb

Hello, in this three weeks I noticed a increase of my hair loss, yesterday I went to a trichologist who diagnosed me male pattern baldness.

Currently my hair condition is good, but I think if this hair loss rythm will keep going I’m going to get worst in a couple of months.

The doctor told me various options, she told me about the use of oral and topical finasteride and the side effects.

I think if finasteride doesent have any long time side effect I’ll try that route, I just want to keep my hairs for more like 5-10 years if its possible.

Should I hope on oral or topical finasteride?

Is it a good idea to try cut my hair very short to see how I look with short hairs or should I enjoy my hairs till I have it?

Oral fin is well-researched and effective for most people, but if you’re worried about side effects, topical finisteride can be a good option with fewer systemic side effects. Buzzing your hair down is a cool option to see how you like it while continuing treatment. Check out the beginner’s guide for more info on treatment options.
