Oral min safety question

Hey guys my doctor prescribed me oral min recently because i cant use topical because of pg and i cant use foam because of coily hairup to this point ive been using a no pg solution from minoxidilmax but that is very expensive (47$ a month)

Right now i am super super scared to take oral min at 2.5mg because of what kevinman said about this drug and the sides is it safe or he is fearmongering
