Not sure where to begin. Could use some guidance

Hey guys. So i stumbled upon this sub reddit about a month ago. I’ve enjoyed seeing all the success many of you have had and advice given. I’ll cut to the chase. I’m 43yo male and I’ve been dealing with balding for 10 years or more now. I’ve just accepted it and shave my head and usually wear a hat. Didn’t even realize there were options that could even help me grow my hair back. Used to have a nice set of hair and it’s definitely now one of my biggest insecurities. Especially when I’ve gone awhile without a “haircut” and my wife sees me. With that being said, I’m hoping you incredible folks can give me some advice and lead me in the right direction as I’m not even sure where to begin with this. I do have health insurance for what it’s worth if that even matters. I do have very low testosterone and balding does run in my family some if that helps at all. Do I need to just consider saving up for hair transplant or do you think i could benefit from other options? Thank you all in advance for any help you can provide. I really really want to have a nice head of hair again. Thank you for any advice you have for me!

Get on oral fin or dut, that’s the core treatment, and consider the big 4. Give it 6-12 months before judging results. Transplant should be a second-line option after trying meds. See the beginner’s guide.
