I saw someone with similar hair loss post a before & after picture saying he took topical minoxidil 2x a day and dermarolled with a 1mm dermaroller. How bad is it, how long would yall say I got? I’m really hoping I can save it before it gets any worse.
so dermarolling and minoxidil will help grow hair, but it does not treat the underlying issue which is DHT. To maintain your hair you have to take a DHT blocker. Most commonly used is finasteride. A stronger one is dutasteride. Just minoxidil will not help stop the progression of hair loss.
