I read a thread on a hair loss forum where a user had good results using minoxidil. I’m facing the same issue as they are: in my country, oral minoxidil isn’t available, only the liquid form. The minoxidil here comes in 2% and 5% concentrations, both in 30 ml bottles.
Also, the finasteride available here is only generic, in 5mg tablets (not 1mg).
I’m not great with calculations. My question is, roughly how many milligrams (mg) of equivalent minoxidil do I consume from 1 ml of the 5% minoxidil bottle?
From that 30 ml bottle, I also want to add 1 mg of finasteride per 1 ml of the minoxidil liquid to achieve the concentrations I mentioned.
How many pills do I need for 30 ml of minoxidil to get at least 2.5 mg of minoxidil and 1 mg of finasteride per ml?
