I’m seeing so much damn conflicting info and very little actual usable info.
the average microneedling stamper is anywhere from9→25$, and apparently you shouldn’t reuse them cause the needles get dented. I’m struggling to figure out what to do, cause 9$ on a daily product (depending on depth, and im seeing conflictng things about protocol too) seems exorbiant. Not sure what to do or what to buy.
yeah, microneedling info can be all over the place. best practice is to use 0.5-1.5 mm needles once every 1-2 weeks. don’t reuse the stampers since the needles can dull and risk infection. just go for one of the disposable options within your budget, but make sure it’s a reputable brand. check out The Beginner’s Guide and the Microneedling learn page
i don’t recommend microneedling unless you experienced exceptional anecdotal results yourself, risk of infections and complicating a hair transplant is far, far worse than the side effects you can experience from things like finasteride apart from the rare and perhaps questionable occurences of the PFS.
