Currently taking 2.5 MG of oral Minoxidil but my dermatologist recently prescribed me a topical oil that includes Minoxidil 8% + Dutasteride 0.05% + Finasteride 0.5%. Any thoughts as to if this might be overkill or along the right track?
You’re using a strong combo with oral min and topical min + fin/dut. This targets hair from different angles. While it’s aggressive, it’s not necessarily overkill unless you notice side effects. Topical fin reduces systemic exposure, so that helps with side effects. Keep an eye on how your body reacts and monitor for any side effects.
