M17, noticing hairloss since 15 or so, only now doing anything about it.
Current treatment stack:
1.25mg~ finasteride daily
topical minoxidil 1x daily
microneedling every 10 days, 1.5mm scalp, 1mm temples
Been on minoxidil for around 2 weeks now, just started finasteride today. Pictures from today, no real comparison photos as I’ve never liked my hair.
Not sure how journals work here but I’ll try update monthly or so.
Interested in the idea of topical ghk-cu & it’s potential synergy to microneedling, may possibly experiment with in the coming months

it might be too early for finasteride, you are just 17. keep an eye on your genital and muscle growth, dht is what causes them. good luck, stay safe.
already tanner stage 5 with plates fused, so no real puberty related concerns. thanks dude

Some improvements in density have happened for my crown & temples, very happy about – despite missing my past 2 microneedling sessions.
Also will be switching to a shallower depth for microneedling, to decrease any possible scar tissue risk. Worth mentioning that I haven’t experienced any side effects from fin, currently 1.5 months in.
is microneedling suitable when one has a scalp acne btw., i had largely exiled the shit out of malassezia with ketoconazole but acne/pimples refuse to die. i had them since the early childhood, perhaps bacterial rather than hormonal, had always an oily scalp? it may be rude to comment on your post to ask my own question but curious nevertheless, thanks in advance.
