(M 21) Min + Fin for 2 years but temples/crown are not growing back

Hello, I’ve been on 5% topical minoxidil and 1.25mg finasteride for 2 years. I was a diffuse thinner and could see through my hair under strong light. After two years my hair looks a lot better, but my temples and my crown still have not grown back. On my temples I can see some hairs which do not seem to be able to grow to the same length as the rest of my head, whereas on the crown I cant see any regrowth at all.

I have also contacted a clinic to evaluate an hair transplant, but they told me that I shouldnt get one because I still have hair follicles, but they are just damaged and cant grow to their full length. What should I do? Should I try some other treatment, maybe adding in microneedling or adding dut in the mix? Thanks

You could try adding microneedling to your routine; it might enhance the effectiveness of min. Also, consider discussing dutasteride with a professional since it might offer stronger results.
