Im 15F and im traumatized rn, I don’t feel like hair oils have helped at all. I did rosemary oil + jojoba oil although I haven’t been that consistent + a scalp brush (and I’ve been gentle/searched up how to correctly use it or try to).
I’ve thought about it being stress but when I shower etc it’s not like I have hair fall at all only seeing 4 strands maybe.
I can maybe understand stress bc I do have PTSD and just get a lot of anxiety sometimes. I’m undergoing trauma treatment for the 2nd time but my hair was normal the 1st time (I think)
And also needing pills to sleep/trouble sleeping and I’m getting a new prescription which is gonna take 2 months so i have nothing rn.
So I guess maybe that’s why but how do I fix this then🙏
(It’s also like this thru out my whole head but it’s not noticeable bc my hair covers it until you ‘pull’

Sorry to hear that. Definitely go to the doctor and get thyroid and androgens checked out. Hair oils probably won’t do much but you could try Minoxidil. What country are you in?
Thank you and I live in Sweden. Sorry to ask this but how would I go about even meeting and just checking whatever that is, I do have a “strict” immigrant mom so kinda don’t know what I’d do or ask.
Hi find a good thricologist if you can. They are hair loss specialist. Check the side effects of the medicine you’re taking, and talk to your Doctor about it. I heard anti depressive meds cause hair loss. Not sure of the ones you’re taking. Definitely see a therapist to help you find a way to regulate your stress, (I know of foam minoxidil 5% and derma rolling, but do know that minoxidil is forever and hair falls even more the first 2 to 3 months, my routine is -hair needs to be washed daily or every other day, use heat protection and blow dry with warm to cool setting) I’m no doctor, nor medical specialist, just another woman going through hair loss. Please see a doctor first who can do lab works to know if your lacking nutritional deficiency and hopefully based on all of that they can help you come up with a plan.
