Losing hair on fin and min + dermastamping for 8 months

Hey everyone,

As I mentioned before, I’ve been dealing with continuous hair loss for about 8 months while on min fin and dermastamp.

  • I started with finasteride at 1.25 mg every other day, and for the past month I’ve been taking 1 mg daily.

  • I’ve been using topical minoxidil for around 3 years.

  • I’ve also been dermastamping for at least 4 months.

Despite all of this, my hairline has continued to get worse, and I’m still shedding a large amount of hair.

Has anyone experienced something similar or have any advice on what I should do next?

Shedding can happen when starting fin and might indicate it’s starting to work, but it’s tough to tell immediately. Consider sticking with your current routine for now, and maybe look into adding a topical anti-androgen or check out oral min if you’re open to it.
