Liquid Minoxidil gave me seb derm on my eyebrows — will it mess up my scalp too if I use it on my temples?

Tried using Kirkland liquid minoxidil on my eyebrows before, but ended up with some mild seborrheic dermatitis pretty sure it was the propylene glycol. I stopped using it and it cleared up. I bought the 6-month pack so I’ve still got a ton left and I’m in of need some anyways for my temples.

So my question is: If this formula caused dermatitis on my eyebrows, is it likely to do the same on my scalp/temples? Should I just switch to a foam to avoid the irritation? Was thinking about just going on oral route. Thanks

It’s likely you could get irritation on your scalp from the same liquid min since it caused seb derm on your eyebrows. Try switching to foam as it usually doesn’t have propylene glycol, which is less irritating. Considering oral min is also an option, but make sure you’re comfortable with systemic effects. Also think about ketoconazole and CBD+MCT for the seb derm. Check out The Beginner’s Guide if you want more info on different options.
