Is Topical Finasteride Safe for Cats in My Home?

Hello everyone,

my doctor prescribed my topical Finasteride (Fynzur).
I have a cat and know, that Minoxidil is highly toxic for cats and can be deadly. How about Finasteride? Is it harmful for cats?

topical fin isn’t known to be toxic to cats like min. but careful handling is really important. avoid your cat ingesting or getting it directly on its skin to be safe.
