Is My Hair Shedding Back-to-Back After 1.5 Years on Finasteride?

Hair in January after about 8 months of finasteride.

I think I had my peak hair recovery back in may/Early June

but its been shedding downhill from there

Here are pics from July:

August looked like an improvement from july

But September destroyed all the August progress and pushed me to the state of my hair in January

My regimen is 1 mg of fin daily since April 2024, I think I could’ve been considered a strong responder of fin from April 2024-April 2025 but the gains have since reversed somewhat.

It’s normal to have periods of shedding on fin after improvements, as hair cycles can vary. Keep on fin and consider adding topical min to support growth.
