Is it normal that fin tingles in the mouth?

I just took fin for the first time, but I cut my 1mg pill into 0.5mg (wanted to ease into the treatment)

When I took it, it felt like sparkling inside of my mouth.

I was wondering if this is normal since I cut the protective coating, or if I should be worried about allergic reactions

Please let me know!

Tingling isn’t a common side effect. Not a typical allergy sign, but keep an eye out for anything unusual

Any idea what might be the reason then?

I don’t know, maybe mannitol or sodium lauryl sulfate (inactive ingredients added to pills sometimes)
