Hey guys, I started taking finasteride in mid-January 2025 and I’ve been experiencing hair shedding since then. To give you a bit of context I began a PRP treatment in November 2024 by having one operation a month and saw some initial improvements. Based on that progress, I decided to add finasteride to my routine.
However, about two months into the finasteride treatment (around March 2025), I started noticing increased shedding again and i have now less hair than I did when I first started in November.
I’ve read that this can be a normal reaction and that I shouldn’t stop the treatment too soon. Am I right not to worry? Is this a temporary phase of the finasteride treatment?
