Hey guys, I’m 35 and I’ve been on finasteride and minoxidil foam for 6 years. I’ve responded very well as my crown was thinning and it filled it great and things have been good. I don’t know if I’m being paranoid or not but I think my crown is starting to thin again. Considering I’ve had no side effects from fin I would hope dut would not give me any side effects. Anyone made the switch? Did it help? Did it make things worse? I’m based in the U.K. thanks for reading
Switching to DUT can be beneficial as it’s more potent, blocking both types of 5-alpha-reductase enzymes. It might offer better results if fin is losing its efficacy. Keep in mind, there’s still a risk for side effects, even if you didn’t experience them with fin, since DUT is stronger. You might want to check out the Beginner’s Guide for more insights.
