How to tell the difference between mpb and hairline maturing?

For some context i’m nearly 20, have had a juvenile hairline until now, since im about 16 my temples have slowly gotten thinner however now i have noticed my corners going back slightly. My dad has a full head of hair and no greys and no one in his family is bald either, his corners are pretty far back compared to mine though, he has a widows peak. I have the same hair as my mother we both have curly hair, her brother is fully grey and about a norwood 2 maybe more. her father was completely grey and his hair was very thin not bald.
Anyways i was just wondering if there was any way for me to keep my hairline how it is. Maybe I could see a specialist to check if im going bald? Does that even exist?

Could be just a maturing hairline, but if you’re noticing it quickly getting worse, MPB might be starting. Look for family patterns but remember this isn’t a definite guide. A trichologist or dermatologist could help you. If you’re interested, using fin or min can help prevent further loss if it’s MPB. Regularly check your hairline’s progress, and if you’re worried, search through the Learn section for insight on treatments that could help maintain or improve your situation.
