Ive been taking fin for about 2-3 years now and it’s been working mostly well. However, since a couple weeks ago I’ve noticed my hairline starting to recede and the top of my head losing more hair. I’m switching to dutasteride and oral minoxidil this month. How should I go about this?
I’ve been told by the clinic I get the meds from to stop fin and go straight to dut. I’ve read on this sub that some people spend a couple months taking both fin and dut. I’m worried about the shedding phase everyone seems to be talking about and I’m worried that adding oral minoxidil will only make it worse. Should I wait to start the oral minoxidil?
Yeah that’s a valid strategy. People start one and wait a while to see how it does, then add in the next treatment.
thanks for the reply. should I try oral min first or the dutasteride? i’m more concerned with the hairline leaving.
The DHT suite like Dut is more common to start with first. Unfortunately you have to ride out the shedding.
