Hi. I’ve been taking finasteride for 3 weeks now and I’ve been shedding since the second week, this shed has been quite servere and I’ve lost quite a bit of my hairline. I’m now really worried as I’m planning to come off finasteride due to getting gyno symptoms. Now that finasteride has caused the shed, will I regain shed hairs once I stop finasteride or have I screwed up and made my hair worse? Help is very appreciated
Hey, fin can cause shedding as your hair adjusts, which can seem more severe at first. If you stop, some hairs might regrow over a few months, but you might lose any benefits from fin.
