Have been using min only on my hairline for the past ~6 months, if I start using is on the rest of my head, will I still get significant shedding phase? (I'm also on fin)

For context I was on fin for a year and then I added topical min but only on my hairline because that was the priority. I had used min for a period years ago already and so I didnt want to deal with microneedling and spreading it all over my scalp. So I’ve been using min on my hairline only and have gotten decent growth, and I’m also sure its having systemic effects as different parts of my body have gotten thicker hair.

But now I’m growing out my hair, and am noticing the density on my top could be better, its not horrible, though I’m debating if its worth taking the leap now to densitymaxx, or if it will cause so much shed that long hair will look bad and my scalp will be noticeable. Right now my scalp isn’t really visible.

Using min on your whole scalp can lead to a temporary shed as hairs cycle into growth. It’s normal and often means the treatment is working. As you’re seeing systemic effects, spreading min may enhance these slightly. Keep in mind densitymaxx isn’t a quick fix, but should help support your hair long-term. If you’re thinking of adding it, weigh the benefits against dealing with potential sheds. Check out The Beginner’s Guide for more info on managing your treatment.
