Hairline still receding during finasteride

I have been undergoing treatment with Finasteride for around 4 months and a little more. Before starting the treatment, about 4 months earlier, I had already noticed that my hair was becoming thinner and that my hairline was starting to recede. So, I went to a dermatologist, who confirmed that I had androgenetic alopecia and prescribed Finasteride along with Minoxidil.

During these 4 months, I have only been using Finasteride because I thought it would be enough to slow down the hair loss. When I started the treatment, my hair loss wasn’t very noticeable, and I wasn’t shedding much. The hair was thin, but there was still a lot of it. It was perhaps a little noticeable that the areas were thinning out, but the hair was still there.

However, over these 4 months, I have continued losing hair, and all that fine hair I had before has already fallen out and is no longer there, and the thick hair is now becoming thin, which makes the hair loss much more noticeable. Right now, I am at least a Norwood II. This week, I finally started using Minoxidil, but I’m unsure if I should continue with Finasteride or switch to Dutasteride instead because it seems like Finasteride isn’t working for me. Or perhaps too little time has passed to make that determination. The last pictures is from the start of the treatment
