Hair feels like hay/brittle and slow growing some areas

Hey guys. For the past year I have noticed my hear have lost a lot of density and generally feels like hay/brittle with no structure. Before hand I could barely run my through as it was so thick and wavy.

Is that a symptom of alopecia or maybe something else.

I have noticed it affects my whole body. I easily lose eyebrow/beard hair if I rub a bit, and also after leaving the toilet seat there are a couple of hair almost every time.

My hairline is kinda finds but a receeded a tiny bit also by the temple, but very minimal.

The front hair though is affected and can be see through especially when wet it’s very bad that area.

The last ting I noticed is my hair by the sideburns grows very slow. I used to fade my hair every week, but now I can’t because it’s so slow growing. It almost double the time, and the hair coming out seem more sparse with more gaps.

Can anyone recognize any of theese symtomps? Could it be Te or gut related, or should I just give up and take fin.

Dermatologist is preferably avoided because they are shit in my country and doesn’t care about hair at all.

sounds like you might be dealing with Telogen Effluvium since you’re noticing body hair loss too. TE can be caused by stress, nutrient issues, or hormonal changes. AGA mostly hits scalp hair, not body hair. If you’re considering treatments, fin can help with AGA by reducing DHT, but won’t fix TE. Check out nutrition or stress-related stuff as possible causes. If you’re thinking about treatments like fin, here’s a good place to start: The Beginner’s Guide. remember treatments can take a while to show results.

Does te also affect the density though? My hair generally is thinner overall and especially at tha front/hairline are I can see through small gaps and when wet it’s pretty bad

yeah TE is a medical term for rapid hair loss (hair entering telogen phase). It can still be MPB, it usually but not always ends up being that. I’d go see a dermatologist.
