Fin+Min for approx 9 months, Losing ground and thinking of switching to DUT. But im not sure how to proceed

Hi! As the title states ive been on fin+min since Feb of this year. Ive been gradually losing ground on my temples as well as on my crown. Not sure if its very visible in the pictures coz they arent great quality. But i am confident that my temples are still receding as well as my crown is thinning.

Ive checked properly and even used one of those remote cameras that connect to the phone that zoom in to see if there is any growth of baby hairs, and it seems like there is none, specially on the temples.

Im thinking of switching to DUT but i have some questions.

  1. Do you recommend i still take fin while switching? And should i be taking both fin and dut?

  2. Do i abruptly stop taking fin and switch to dut? Or should i gradually lower my dose of fin as i switch to dut?

  3. What dosage is recommended for DUT? ive seen different recommendations on the dosages.

If anyone have similar experiences please help me out id love to know whats the best way to proceed for me.

Thank so much.

9 months on fin is far from the final/stable result but anyways, if you want to switch, take both fin and dut for a month, then drop fin, dut 0.5mg, if you can afford 2.5mg go for it

It’s tough when a fin+min stack doesn’t give the results you want after 9 months. Moving to dutasteride is a common next step. Most guys who switch do a gradual transition—taking dut a couple of times a week first to let it build up in tissue, since its half-life is super long, and slowly replacing fin. A standard dose is 0.5mg per day, but definitely consult a doctor to guide you through the switch properly.
