Experiencing shedding for 2+ months on fin and min

Hi,

I started taking oral finasteride and minoxidil in November 2024 and noticed a fairly quick improvement—my hair loss seemed to stabilize early on. However, since around April 2025, I’ve noticed an increase in shedding again. I understand that hair loss can be cyclical, but I’m concerned that the treatment may not be working anymore given how long the shedding has lasted.

Both photos were taken after a quick brush through my hair, and as you can see, quite a bit came out. I’d really appreciate any advice or insight.

Shedding can be normal with treatment like fin and min as your hair adjusts to the new growth cycle. If it continues to be a concern, check for factors like stress or scalp conditions. Transient shedding is common with min since it pushes more hairs into the growth phase.
