Experiencing Hair Shedding During Minoxidil Application for 5 Days

Hi guys,

As the title says — during the application of minoxidil, around 20 hairs end up on my arm while I’m rubbing it in.
What confuses me is that before applying, even if I pull or run my fingers through my hair, they hold on firmly and don’t come out.

This has been happening for about 5 days now, and I’ve never experienced this before.

Has anyone had a similar experience with minoxidil?

Hey, it’s normal to see shedding when starting min. It usually means the older hairs are making way for new growth. Give it some weeks and the shedding should settle down. Keep going with your application and monitor the progress.
