I’m in my early 20s and have had slow but substantial hairline recession. It’s been recognized by doctors and I have been taking topical min and pill fin for 1.5 years. Also been using tretinoin and microneedling for roughly a year. Despite it all, my hairline is still receding and crown continues to thin. Am I missing something? Is it possible that I just don’t respond to any of it? Should I start saving for a transplant now?
you’ve been on min and fin for a while, but hair loss can take time to stabilize. since your hairline is still receding, consider adjusting your min routine or switching to oral min. keep microneedling as it can boost absorption. hair transplants work best if hair loss is stable, so it might be worth holding off until your hair is under control. check The Beginner’s Guide for more tips.
