DrPen etc vs Stamp 2025 product update +can you still get Pen refills in the future?

So anyone start w a stamp and swap to a pen and start seeing way better results?

So I’m looking for an upgrade from the stamp that I bought. It’s coming up on four months anyway and it sucked the whole time. I got the bio needle which I think is also on Dr. pens website.

I searched for hours and there’s honestly not a lot of feedback on this subject at all. Most of the posts are “I have a pen and haven’t seen anything yet and I’ve been using it for one day.”

This stamp has 120 needles and I think they’re either dull factory or there’s just way too many needles aka surface area and it’s so hard to get it in. Within the frame of reference of using 1 pound of force. ‘It’s so hard’ I mean. It seems like a pen would be much easier. I have "long “hair like 3” so wonder about a pen.

And yes I’m actually pushing the needles in to the base not feather weight and saying it’s so easy and I don’t feel anything lol. 1.5mm I started doing from my Dr’s recommendation. And he said my technique is looking good.

I’ve been inclined to get a pen the whole time but can you even still get refills? I see em on Dr Pen. I don’t wanna drop $100 on a silly thing to not be able to use it :person_shrugging:t2:. I’m surprised at how little results there are I’ve seen some.

Pens are the way to go. There are replacement tips that are pretty easy to get.

For who knows how much longer. Can probably get them from the vendor I would assume for a while straight from China. Why the pen over the stamp? I fear w longer hair the pen may be a lot harder.

Pen pokes in and out rapidly, it ends up being a lot more punctures. They’re very easy to use. Tips are disposable, less waste ultimately.
