Does microneedling cause "microscarring"?

Hi! I’ve been losing my hair for a while but am interested in doing what I can to bring it back / lose less. I’ve heard about PGP/PDGF etc., as well as just general microneedling, but I was wondering about a perhaps unanswerable question:

I’ve also heard about PP405, and obviously we don’t know much but I read that it won’t work as well (assuming it works) on people with advanced hair loss that has led to microscarring. I think usually that’s due to the extent of the hair loss, but my dumb question is - does microneedling (either on its own or the type used with PGP) cause microscarring? From the vocabulary it feels like it would, but I have very little context. Thank you!

Microneedling can cause microscarring if not done properly, but using the right technique minimizes this risk. It generally works by triggering collagen and growth factor production, supporting hair regrowth. Check needle depth and frequency to avoid issues.
