i went to the gp and they said it could be because of dry scalp and gave me a steroid. im just worried this isnt going to fix and im gonna lose more
you caught it early, go see a better dermatologist. fin/dut and min are only two known solutions to AGA, the rest is bullshit. I recommend a)getting your bloodwork done b)adding a bit of biotin or 1% OTC ketoconazole to this stack and you will be golden in addition to this, even tho biotion and/or otc ketoconazole won’t do much against hair loss but will help even if it is small. keep in mind, for all meds listed here I would adivse you to see a derm, don’t take anything with a derm and proper assesment of the situation.
finasteride(propecia 1mg or proscar 1/5) or dutasteride 0.5mg+oral minoxidil 2.5mg. while i dont advise you to take them, BUT if possible please discuss these medicines with a doctor, (for oral minoxidil stick with loniten/lonolox, avoid if possible indian brands, sometimes they under/over fill and may cause overdose which may be lethal.)
finasteride and dutasteride is mutually exclusive (typically) and dutasteride is stronger than finasteride. for large majority of men, the dutasteride will absolutely nuke their DHT. since you are losing your hair young, it might be better (tho always see a doc before hopping, this is not a medical advice) to hop on dut rather than fin
