I’ve been using Minoxidil for 1 year from a local Trichologist and never had any issues until this latest bottle. It’s always been at room temperature and I don’t think I’ve left it exposed to air for too long, however there’s crystals at the bottom of the bottle. My Trichologist just said that it’s likely that air has gotten in and not to worry about it. From what I’ve Googled it seems like I should dispose of it though, I wonder if I’m being played for a fool as he never mentioned going on finesteride and doesn’t recommend any sort of derma rolling or derma stamping, just minoxidil on its own. What do you guys think?
Yeah, I think if there’s crystals, toss the bottle, it’s not stable anymore. Also, relying only on Minoxidil is pretty outdated. Not recommending fin or dermarolling puts your Trichologist behind current best practices
Thank you. I did find it strange that finesteride and dermarolling wasn’t mentioned. Might consider another source for my Minoxidil in the future.
