I have been on finasteride for over 3yrs now, it stopped my balding and even caused regrowth around the 2yr mark. However I have noticed in the past 6 months my hairline slowly starting to recede. I have recently started topical minoxidil 2months ago for hairline but have heard that some people don’t respond to and am also considering switching to oral minoxidil 1.5mg. Any tips/prior experiences for switching from finasteride to dutasteride and also should I wait longer before I make the switch from topical minoxidil to oral ? Thanks all
Switching from fin to dut could help since dut blocks more DHT. You can try oral min for more potent results, but watch for side effects. It might be worth trying these changes if your current regimen’s wearing off. Give topical min at least 6 months before deciding if it works for you. Check out The Beginner’s Guide for more details.
