Considering Hair Transplant at 40 After Finasteride and Minoxidil

I’m 40 and have been on finasteride for about a decade and oral minoxidil for a few years. I haven’t had any further loss since starting treatment, and it even thickened my crown a bit. During COVID I grew my hair out and have kept it long since.

Now I’m at a point where I’m in a better place financially and considering a transplant. Most friends and family say my hair looks normal, but I still notice it - especially on video calls or in certain photos/angles. It still bothers me sometimes.

So I wanted to get some impartial opinions:
Do you think a transplant would noticeably improve my appearance, and does it seem like I’d be a good candidate? The bathroom photos were taken under harsh lighting to give you an idea of the amount of hair loss.

Appreciate any feedback and thanks in advance!

Based on your pics and treatment history with fin and oral min, a hair transplant could definitely fill in the thinning areas and improve appearance. Since you’ve maintained well with your current treatments, you might be a good candidate. Just remember to keep up with fin and min after a transplant to maintain those results.
