Considering Dutasteride After 2 Years on Fin + Min

Hi guys, I’ve been on oral fin + topical min for almost 2 years now. Fin 2 years, min 1,5. Switched from topical to oral min in February. My hair loss has definitely slowed down massively, so I guess the fin is working.I was on and off topical min the first 6 months and then the last 5-6 months I’ve applied it every day. Now I’m roughly 3 months into oral min. I’ve not seen a lot of progress, perhaps no progress at all. What could I do? Would hopping on dutasteride make sense? I’m around a Norwood 3, more diffuse thinning but my crown is my main concern.

So many things you can try!

Have microneedled weekly? GHK-CU, peptide serums. These help.

Thanks for responding. I did micro needle once a week for some time. Just heard mixed stories about it and not sure if microneedling would suddenly cause regrowth. Could you elaborate on the other stuff you mentioned? Would those really help me get regrowth?

There are plausible pathways GHK-Cu copper peptides help. Lack of full studies because not patentable so who’s paying. Also three months not enough time for oral min. I’d experiment with microneedling and topicals for a while before messing with Dutasteride. These are heavy systemic drugs.

Agreed, don’t want to go for dut too soon. Alright, thanks!
