Concerns About Hair Gaps After 4150 Graft FUE and Dutasteride/Minoxidil Use

I thought of doing hair transplant in some clinic, and I saw the results of the guy in the images on their website - added only the images relevant to what I will ask here.

The results were published here and here (long time ago, he’s not available to answer now), and I will sum up what’s written there:

He had FUE for 4150 grafts. 13 years before that he had FUT with 2000 grafts which was fine and he was on Finasteride, but Finasteride just slowed his balding and didn’t stop it - so he needed to do that second transplant (FUE) eventually. Now he is on Dutasteride and oral Min.

His results look great in general, but I don’t understand those hair gaps on the side that I marked with red – seems to me like he didn’t have those before the transplant (see the first image).

What do you think about those hair gaps on the side?
Did it happen because of the hair transplant?
And if so, do you think it’s temporary?

Hair gaps after a transplant can be due to shock loss or graft distribution issues. Usually, shock loss is temporary and recovers in a few months. If the gaps persist, they might need more treatment. Keep using dut and oral min, and give it some time.
