No finasteride. My diffuse thinning was likely caused due to poor scalp care. I used to take boiling hot showers every day. My scalp was itchy and flaky (not dandruff). Lots of split ends. Hairs are not falling out anymore. Did this under the guidance of a dermatologist.

Thanks bro! I think it’s important to bring awareness that all hairloss isn’t caused by DHT. I see a lot of people on the subreddit in particular telling people to start blasting finasteride right away, but if your hair & scalp is unhealthy definitely look into treating that first. Always recommend seeing a dermatologist that specializes in hair loss for their opinion!
Broo I just realized I used to do the same exact thing as you(boiling hot shower everyday for years) and my scalp was also itching burning and all that stuff too. I also have low iron. I might try your way first before i try finistride cause istg we are almost the exact same as the starts and the way my hairloss looks. Just one question tho isn’t hair miniaturization only from alopecia?
