I’ve been using topical finasteride and minoxidil for about 7 months now. During the first 3 months, I experienced quite a bit of shedding, but by the 4th month, things started to stabilize and the shedding returned to a more normal level. However, around the 7-month mark, I started shedding again. I’ve heard that a second shedding phase can be normal, but I’m wondering how long it usually lasts. I understand it can vary from person to person, but I really hope it doesn’t last as long as the first one, which went on for about 3 months.
