I’m 33 and I’ve been on finasteride for about 5 years. Last yeat went from 1mg to 2.5 mg and even so I have definitely crossed the threshold into “obviously receding hairline” category. I’m feeling really discouraged that I’ve continued to lose on fin. If it’s not working for me, is there any option to stop hair loss besides transplants or just accepting it? Has anyone who didn’t respond to fin found another option? I haven’t been on min, but from what I understand I shouldn’t be losing more hair on fin if it’s working.
one word: dutasteride. always refer to a dermatologist. if dutasteride does not cut it dut dose may be upped from standard 0.5 to 1, 1.5, 2 or even 2.5mg and topical spiro may be added to the stack with a doctor’s guidance. If this does not work in stopping the progression then you have to sail to danger territory, an area where few but brave men with balls of steel had travelled to… The risk you take from this point onwards is fully yours, young man. But it will halt the hair loss dead in its tracks and will drop the norwood reaper dead when combined with dutasteride… That land is the infamous “ru58841”, but ru58841 is not a doctor prescribed medicine, he/she cannot legally do it. you have to get it yourself and it has dangers, i cannot recommend it as i am not a doctor, cannot give medical advices and even if I was this shit is not a medicine but a research chemical..
I’m just not hearing from anyone who had limited success on fin but did have results on dut. I’m not sure if my resistance to fin means I won’t respond to dut.
try dut yourself under a doc’s prescription or shave it
no other way out.
ps:replaced ru58841 with dut, apologize for the mistake.
