Any thoughts on real world experiences of people who donate plasma and can't take dutasteride or finasteride *and are like saving for a hair transplant by donating plasma consistently without any breaks?

I want to donate plasma consistently & save for another hair transplant, but plasma center doesn’t allow taking Fin or Dut. I used to take DUT a year ago and stopped, but now notice more hair loss. What can I take instead of Fin or Dut other than Min. & biotin. & donate plasma?

What should I do?

I’m also not a fan of needling, I don’t think I want to do that.

Can I take foam minoxidil at 5 percent and Biotin and that would help

I am really bummed out that since I stopped taking Dutasteride a year ago and having learned I can’t return to taking it if I want to donate plasma consistently 2x a week for 2 years to save up for another hair transplant.

But, by that time, by the time 2 years comes around, my hair follicles on the donor area might be all shot or burnt out from too much hormone that causes hair loss.

Has biotin or minoxidil both in high doses help avoid hair loss if you can’t take fin or dut?

Thanks in advance

Probably a little too specific of a scenario!

I would stick with min and try an alternate anti-androgen. Maybe you can get away with using topical forms of fin/dut?

thanks…but no topical fin and dut aren’t allowed either…i was thinking of maybe anti-estrogen vitamins…that bodybuilders use as post cycle therapy…anyone else here has a view on this?
